'Apartament A' nasce senza essere 'Apartament A', era un piccolo appartamento in rovina in attesa di ristrutturazione che mi era stato messo a disposizione da proprietari veramente sensibili all'arte.
Qui ho dipinto le 8 opere murali sulle pareti sviluppando un'idea nata a Wilhelmshaven per la mostra "Ungeniert / engagiert - Kunst aus den Strassen Berlins" della Kunsthalle locale (galleria d'arte pubblica).
Anche grazie allo straordinario sostegno del Sig. Sela i proprietari hanno deciso di far diventare l'appartamento 'Apartment A' per una notte.
Assieme ad un piccolo gruppo di amici (l'A-team!) abbiamo riattivato energia, riscaldamento e toilette. Nella toilette ho realizzato una piccola installazione ambientale. E dopo aver installato luci e un piccolo bar la festa è iniziata!
Era l'8 dicembre 2017 e per tutte le persone presenti è stata la prima e l'ultima possibilità di vivere il progetto artistico. Ma i proprietari sono rimasti colpiti dalla mostra/festa e mi hanno concesso di utilizzare l'appartamento per eventi legati all'arte e alla cultura (e feste ...) "fino alla fine del prossimo mese" non so più quante volte, fino al 17 novembre 2020!
L'appartamento è ora in ristrutturazione, tutti i murales non ci saranno più e quello che rimarrà dell'Appartamento A saranno bei ricordi, il catalogo autoprodotto e le stampe di alta qualità dei murales.
'Apartment A' is born without being 'Apartment A', it was a little ruined flat waiting for renovation that was given at my disposal by really sensitive to art landlords.
There I painted the 8 mural artworks on the walls developing an idea sprung up in Wilhelmshaven for the exhibition "Ungeniert/engagiert - Kunst aus den Strassen Berlins" by the local Kunsthalle (public art gallery).
Also thanks to the extraordinary endorsement of Mr. Sela the landlords agreed to let the little flat became 'Apartment A' for one night.
Together with a little bunch of friends (the A-team!) we reactivated energy, heating and the toilette. In the toilette I builded a little enviromental installation. After Lights and a little bar were installed, the party started!
It was the 8th of December 2017 and for all the people there it was the first and the last chance to experience the art-project. But the landlords remained impressed from the exhibition and granted me to use the flat for art and culture related events (and parties...) "until the end of next month" a lot of times, until the 17th of November 2020!
The flat is eventually being renovated, all the murals will not be anymore and what will remain of Apartment A will be beautiful memories, the self produced catalog and high quality prints of the murals.
