Hunger is one of the best known primary drives. Like other primary drives, it contributes decisively to establish the behavior of human beings and other animals.

The capacity of the human being to act on the environment and shape it, for better or for worse, creates distortions, both of the original concept of hunger understood as the need for food and of the methods and strategies that are put in place to satisfy this drive.

Another key aspect of being human is its ability to build social organizations that are so complex as to constitute real collective intelligence. Can we talk about hunger for these entities? What should they eat then?
